Customised print-on-demand solutions for online shops, galleries and artists who sell prints in bulk. We store your files in our archive so they're available whenever you need a refill. This guarantees that the entire print run - from the first to the last copy - has a consistent look and quality.

PIGS is a Hahnemühle Certified Studio in Oslo and has been producing giclée prints and photo prints since 2013. We ship to all of Norway, Denmark and Sweden.

Shipping directly to your customers

When your print is ready, you can choose between several types of delivery:

We ship throughout Norway, Denmark and Sweden - either to you or directly to your customers. The shipment has tracking. Prints up to 110 cm on the long side are sent in tubes or flat packaging.

For customers in Oslo, we offer pick-up at Christian Krohgs gate 34 and courier service for urgent matters or large photos.

Shipping to Denmark and Sweden: We ship to all of Scandinavia with tracking. For orders under EUR 150, VAT is included in the price - the parcel is delivered without customs stops or additional costs. For orders over EUR 150, import VAT and any customs duties will be calculated upon delivery in your country. Prices in the online store are stated in NOK including Danish/Swedish VAT (25 %).

How to order print on demand online

  • Please select Online ordering for prints and follow the steps until you end up on the product page. This is where we start.
  • You can upload and order prints of multiple files at the same time if all the files are to be printed in the same size and the same number of copies.
  • Edit the file, enter the number of copies per design. Continue to the shopping basket. For multiple formats, upload a new file and repeat the process.
  • Check that the quantity and designs are correct. Select shipping or collection. Proceed to checkout.
  • Fill in your payment details.
  • Important: Tick «ship to another address» if you want us to send your prints to someone other than yourself. Enter the address details of your customer. You can send the order to one customer or to yourself.
  • Pay the order.
  • We'll do the rest - your artwork is on its way. Tracking information will be sent to your email as soon as your parcel is on its way.

Price example Print on demand

You sell a 50×70cm print in photo quality (200-270gsm) for SEK 1,400 in your online store, and our net price in the online store is approximately SEK 440 per print, the maths looks like this:

  • Your customer pays: 1,400 kr + shipping (175 kr in the online store)

  • Our share: 440 kr (production) + 175 kr shipping = 615 kr

  • Your gross margin: approx. SEK 785 per print sold (before platform costs/fees)

The prices above include production, quality control and neutral packaging (white-label). Special solutions (e.g. signing, certificates or own packaging) and any promotional discounts are agreed separately. For higher volumes and regular launches, we can offer better purchase prices.

Customers in Denmark and Sweden: Prices are quoted in NOK including VAT (25 %). For orders under EUR 150, the customer pays nothing extra on delivery.

White label shipping

Do you sell prints under your own name/brand? We can ship directly to your customers in Norway, Denmark and Sweden - without any PIGS branding on the parcel.

We offer two additional services specifically for print on demand customers:

  • Shipping stickers with your logo - 10 round stickers on matt vinyl, 5 cm, attached to the pack. Up to 2 designs per order.
  • Personalised thank you card - A6, single-sided print on the same paper as the order. The customer adds their own photo (or the order's motif) and a short text (max. 120 characters), the card is sent together with the print order.

 

Both cost kr 119,- incl. VAT. and is only available in combination with a print order.

Frequently asked questions

  • What is print-on-demand at PIGS? Print-on-demand means that we produce and despatch individual orders for your online gallery or webshop only when the customer places an order. You don't need a warehouse, we handle printing, packing and despatch.
  • Who is the solution suitable for? Artists, photographers, illustrators, galleries and platforms that want to sell prints steadily over time without tying up capital in print runs. We can work with both small volumes and ongoing sales.
  • How does the integration with the webshop work? We can accept orders in the online store, via email and shared order form (Google Drive). Together we define sizes, paper types, prices and print files per design.
  • Is the service white labelled without the PIGS logo? Yes, we do. We ship neutrally or with your branding, such as your own logo on the parcel or flyer. The sender can be set to your name or company where the shipping provider allows it, so that the customer experiences it as your dispatch.
  • What paper types and formats can I offer? FineArt, Velvet, photo paper and poster quality. Formats are agreed in advance, such as A4, A3, 50×70 and 70×100. Maximum roll width is up to 160 cm.
  • How do prices and margins work for print-on-demand? We agree on a net production price per format and paper. You set your retail price in your own store and keep the difference as your margin. For larger volumes, we can discuss better purchase prices.
  • How quickly do you produce and ship? Normal production time is 2-3 working days. Shipping time is additional and depends on the carrier and recipient location.
  • Do you handle complaints and damage in the post? Yes, we do. Damaged consignments are documented with photos, and we produce new copies by agreement. Procedures for complaints, who the customer contacts and who refunds, are clarified in the co-operation agreement.
  • Do you send print-on-demand to Denmark and Sweden? Yes, we do. We manufacture in Oslo and ship with tracking to all of Skaxndinavia. Delivery time to Denmark and Sweden is normally 5-8 working days including production.
  • How much does shipping to Denmark and Sweden cost? Shipping cost depends on size and weight. You'll see the shipping cost at checkout before you pay.
  • Do my customers have to pay customs duty or VAT when receiving in Denmark or Sweden? For orders under EUR 150, VAT is already included in the price and the parcel is delivered at no extra cost. For orders over EUR 150, import VAT and any customs duties will be calculated upon delivery. We label all shipments with the correct value and IOSS number.
  • Is the parcel labelled with the PIGS logo when shipping abroad? Yes, but you can mention having the shipment white-labelled - without the PIGS logo so sends neutrally, without a visible sender from us. You can also attach your own flyer or branding if you wish.
  • Can I order proofs before a larger print-on-demand order? Answer. Order a single print in the desired format and paper quality as a proof.
